Health

memwest.jpg (13047 bytes)    There's no excuse for not feeling well in Pembroke Pines.  Memorial Hospital West conveniently serves residents on Flamingo Road, while Memorial Pembroke (shown below) stands ready on University Drive.   Making sure all the bases are covered, Memorial even maintains a 24-hour "walk in" medical facility on Douglas.   Countless physicians, dentists, diagnosticians, and other health care providers may be found in offices surrounding the hospitals and far beyond.

Time to play!
Pembroke Pines is home to one Broward County park --   C.B. Smith -- on Flamingo Road.   The 300-acre park offers many outdoor activities including camping, a water park with slides, flumes and tube rides for the adventurous and a shallow, sand-lined swimming hole and beach for the more relaxed and younger set.

In addition, the city maintains 20 smaller parks. There are four golf courses, 12 lighted tennis SL01433_.WMF (23148 bytes)courts, 27 lighted baseball fields, and 6 lighted football/soccer fields in the city.
